ABOUT THE GUEST PRESENTER

Ralph Heckert is a senior vice president and investment counselor for Capital Guardian Trust Company’s Personal Investment Management division and a vice president of Capital Guardian Trust Company, a Nevada Corporation. Mr. Heckert manages the private client consulting services groups that are Capital’s intermediary client relationships with global private banks and consulting firms. Prior to joining our organization in 2002, he spent 10 years with Bernstein Investment Research & Management, most recently as a senior vice president and managing director where he founded the southern region for Bernstein in Palm Beach and Miami. Prior to that, he spent six years with Smith Barney as a managing director in corporate finance. He also served as president of Smith Barney Pension Advisors Corp., Inc. and director of CIGNA Investments. Mr. Heckert earned an MBA and a BS from the University of Connecticut. He is based in our Los Angeles office.
