Cedar Brook Financial Partners’ Managing Principal, Azim Nakhooda, Selected to Speak at Center for Public Investment Conferences

Investment strategist, Azim Nakhooda, is chosen to speak on hot finance topics at
Ohio Treasury’s summer conferences.

CLEVELAND, OH, June 8, 2011 Cedar Brook Financial Partners, LLC (www.cedarbrookfinancial.com) managing principal, Azim Nakhooda has been selected to speak at the Ohio Treasury’s Center for Public Investment Management (CPIM) Conferences on June 8 at Cuyahoga Community College, headquartered in Cleveland, OH, and August 3 at the Holiday Inn French Quarters in Perrysburg, OH. CPIM is a mandatory, continuing education program for Ohio’s public fund managers and their oversight authorities provided by the Ohio Treasury.

Mr. Nakhooda has been asked to speak on hot topics in financial planning and provide a perspective on the global as well as domestic markets. “People across the globe are struggling with where to put their cash on hand. Given the intense market volatility, it’s challenging to know where to invest,” explained Mr. Nakhooda. “While the global recovery offers investment opportunities, it’s important to understand how to assess the risk. Likewise, opportunities remain to invest domestically, but only after the risk has been evaluated. I’ll cover these and other timely topics of interest to Ohio’s public fund managers and their oversight authorities.”
