Mark S. Gottlieb Elected to the Education Board of the Institute of Business Appraisers

Great Neck, NY – May 19, 2011- The Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA), the oldest professional society devoted solely to the appraisal of closely-held businesses, has announced the election of Mark S. Gottlieb to the Education Board for the term June 1, 2011 to May 31, 2014. Given Mr. Gottlieb’s longtime support to the business appraisal profession, his board membership should have a significant impact on the IBA and its education efforts.

Keeping in mind the IBA’s commitment to the highest quality of service to its membership, each of the Education Board members hold a position of confidence and considerable influence. As a new Board member, Mr. Gottlieb will represent this pioneering organization in every activity in which he engages throughout his term.

“I am very honored to have been elected to the Education Board of an organization that, among other things, has helped to increase awareness of business valuation as a specialized profession, and continues to develop and provide information, programs and services for its members in the valuation community,” Mr. Gottlieb says. “I look forward to contributing to the IBA’s education programs that will continue to support its membership.”

The IBA, in turn, greatly appreciates Mr. Gottlieb’s strong commitment to serve on its Education Board, and appreciates his active involvement and willingness to meet the challenges before the Board.
