BELL AND SANAK ASSIGNED TO KEY ROLES WITHIN COMPASS’ WEALTH MANAGEMENT GROUP
BIRMINGHAM, AL- Compass Bank’s Wealth Management Group (WMG) today announced that its former Birmingham Market Executive, Douglas Bell, will now serve as director of fiduciary services and tax for the Group. In addition, Steve Sanak has joined WMG as regional executive overseeing the Alabama and Florida markets.
In his new role, Bell will work to build on WMG’s trust business and record of satisfactory practices, while ensuring the implementation of training and development plans for the future. Bell previously served as private client executive providing WMG’s industry leading products and services to Compass’ affluent client base in Birmingham. His professional certifications include Certified Trust & Financial Advisor, Accredited Estate Planner and Accredited Investment Fiduciary. Bell also is an instructor at the Southern Trust School and an executive committee member of the Alabama Bankers Association.
In his new role, Sanak will be responsible for delivering integrated wealth management services, including investment management, financial planning, private banking and trust services to high-net-worth clients with sales, financial, operational and risk management oversight for Compass’ Wealth Management Group in Alabama and Florida. Sanak is active in many non-profit organizations, including the United Way, the American Heart Association, March of Dimes and Junior Achievement. He also has been active with the American Bankers Association.
