Job Description/Requirements:

In this key opportunity, you will be responsible for integrating our Trust and Fiduciary offering within management responsibility for the hiring and retention of a sales team consisting of Fiduciary Sales Officers (FSOs) and support staff. You will be responsible for the FSOs sales efforts and production, as well as the coordination of support staff efforts within a prescribed territory. In addition, you will manage a personal trust sales team to effectively cross-sell trust and fiduciary services within the PCG/IBG brokerage channels, while adhering to a consistent sales process that includes regular inspection of sales efforts and partnerships. You will also help to foster, create and maintain a positive and rewarding job experience for FSOs, build successful partnerships with the stakeholders/partners necessary to achieve the objective of effectively cross-selling trust/fiduciary services and plan/execute key activities, including product rollouts, training, recruiting and expansion. You will also ensure adherence to the highest ethical standards and commitment to Wachovia’s diversity objectives, regularly monitor expenses and manage team expenses within budget, manage FSOs with regard to prompt and complete reporting of sales activities, attend all meetings/conference calls and perform other activities as requested by the Regional Managing Director of the PCG/IBG National Sales Group.

Must have five years’ experience managing a financial services sales force, with a strong understanding of trust and fiduciary services and a general understanding of the full array of trust products and services. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, including the ability to demonstrate these skills to staff, partners, brokers and senior management are necessary. Demonstrated capability to build consensus, create synergies and to instill confidence in leadership strategies are required. Post graduate degree (MBA, JD) CTFA or CFP is preferred. Experience working with a brokerage company in a fiduciary sales capacity or managing sales officers who worked with brokers in that capacity is desirable. This position is not location specific, however it will require a high degree of travel within a geographical territory.
