Job 5515: Wealth Management Client Advisor

Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
Bonus & Incentives: Totally compensation is dependant on how well the Client Advisor does with the incentive compensation plan. The incentive plan is uncapped.
Position Responsibilities: This key position is responsible for business development in northern Chicago to new affluent clients ($1 million+ in investable assets), existing private banking clients, and Bank customers - selling a complete menu of Wealth & Investment Management products and services. The Wealth Management Client Advisor needs to be thoroughly conversant in all investment management and trust products and committed to cross-selling and developing relationships with external and internal referral sources. Primary Responsibilities: Selling of proprietary and non-proprietary investment management services, fiduciary services, estate planning and estate settlement services, financial planning services, alternative investments, brokerage services, and life and long-term care insurance products. Cross-selling of private banking loan and deposit products, as well as other retail and wholesale bank products/services. Work with other team members to develop additional business with existing affluent clients. Develop strong relationships with referral sources (internal and external centers of influence).
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors, Series 7 and, 63 or 66 required (current or acquire within the first 4 months of employment).
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: Three years of investment management and trust sales experience. Trailing 12-month production of $250,000 or more in recurring fees. Strong product knowledge within investment management. Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with referral sources. Experience with using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Bachelorís degree required.Series 7 and, 63 or 66 required (current or acquire within the first 4 months of employment).
Preferred Qualifications: MBA, Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA). Trailing 12-month production of $300,000 or more in recurring fees.
