Job 5260: Wealth Management President / Practice Leader

Location State: MN

Base Salary: $130,000 - $150,000, DOE

Bonus & Incentives: Incentive is tied directly to achievement of individual's agreed to business objectives and specified divisional profit goals.

Position Responsibilities: The Wealth Management President / Practice Leader will champion the corporate vision and strategically lead a 65+ person combined personal trust & employee benefits solutions organization in the achievement of its mission to effectively serve its clients and consistently meet its business objectives. Since its inception over 50 years ago, our client has evolved into a highly diversified provider of wealth management products and services to include personal and institutional trust, investment management, benefits administration, and business insurance. The organization continues to grow and currently serves over 1,400 clients and 300,000 employees nationwide. Nationally charted, the firm is a leading provider of quality trust products and investment services to individuals and institutions, as well as total compensation and benefit solutions. Its relationship-driven approach assures highly responsive, personal service and creative solutions to meet each client's objectives. With more than $2.5 billion in client assets, the firm has the expertise and financial strength to handle accounts of virtually any size and complexity.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
* Lead by translating corporate vision into sustainable, goal-directed action.
* Manage overall business growth within wealth management.
* Drive continued thrust into personal trust services marketplace.
* Integrate retirement plan and trust services into cohesive business strategy.
* Encourage and sustain continuation of entrepreneurial business approach.
* Model commitment to both teamwork and personal ownership of results.

Education and Certifications/Licenses: Masters, JD, CFP, CFA or CTFA preferred

Mandatory Minimum Qualifications:
* A visionary who will direct a successful entrepreneurial organization.
* 10+ years comprehensive personal trust and qualified plans experience.
* Specific sales experience and a thorough understanding of consultative sales.
* Global perspective of retirement plan services industry.
* Excellent retirement plans product development skills.
* Working knowledge of trust and retirement plan regulatory compliance.
* Industry connections that can be leveraged in the furtherance of the business.

Additional Qualification:
* BA/BS degree is required and an advanced degree preferred.
* The successful candidate will have experience in trust administration, knowledge of personal and trust taxation, estate planning, retirement planning and other financial services, with specific expertise in investment management.
* A minimum of 10 years trust/investment services and retirement plans experience is required.
* The successful candidate will have proven management experience in the trust and/or broader financial services industries. A strong results focus and a proven ability to meet and deliver on business goals.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, customer service, attention to detail, follow through, and analytical skills are required. The successful candidate must possess the ability to work closely within a management team environment.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
* An eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.
* Investment Adviser registration: NASD Series 7 & 63 licenses preferred.

Additional Comments: Solid personal trust experience needed. Must be self-directed and proven leader. Corporate culture emphasizes entrepreneurial skills plus effectiveness at partnering with colleagues that head up other lines of business.
