Job 5515: Wealth Management Client Advisor

Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

Bonus & Incentives: Totally compensation is dependant on how well the Client Advisor does with the incentive compensation plan. The incentive plan is uncapped.

Position Responsibilities: This key position is responsible for business development in northern Chicago to new affluent clients ($1 million+ in investable assets), existing private banking clients, and Bank customers - selling a complete menu of Wealth & Investment Management products and services. The Wealth Management Client Advisor needs to be thoroughly conversant in all investment management and trust products and committed to cross-selling and developing relationships with external and internal referral sources. Primary Responsibilities: * Selling of proprietary and non-proprietary investment management services, fiduciary services, estate planning and estate settlement services, financial planning services, alternative investments, brokerage services, and life and long-term care insurance products. * Cross-selling of private banking loan and deposit products, as well as other retail and wholesale bank products/services. * Work with other team members to develop additional business with existing affluent clients. * Develop strong relationships with referral sources (internal and external centers of influence).

Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors, * Series 7 and, 63 or 66 required (current or acquire within the first 4 months of employment).

Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: * Three+ years of investment management and trust sales experience. * Trailing 12-month production of $250,000 or more in recurring fees. * Strong product knowledge within investment management. * Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with referral sources. * Experience with using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. * Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. * Bachelorís degree required. * Series 7 and, 63 or 66 required (current or acquire within the first 4 months of employment).

Preferred Qualifications: * MBA, Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA). * Trailing 12-month production of $300,000 or more in recurring fees.
