Job 5670: Private Banker

Location State: NJ, Flexible about location

Base Salary: $80,000 - $90,000

Position Responsibilities: Develop a partnership with the management and other stakeholders to provide creative and appropriate credit solutions for our high-net worth customers. Manage a large group of banking relationships across a broad customer segment ranging from dealership owners and management through individual consumers. Relationship management competencies include "high touch" customer service, the ability to understand complex financial profiles and the ability to provide "best in class" financial solutions. Cross-sell credit and depository products and services where appropriate. Promote products to include consumer and commercial unsecured and secured loans including real estate loan transactions (first and second mortgages, home equity lines and loans) for dealership owners, select dealership managers, and other high-net-worth customers. Assess the credit request, and all aspects of the loan process to ensure the bank is compliant with company, regulatory and investor policies and guidelines. Ensure service quality, production and turnaround standards are achieved.

Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors

Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: 7-10 years relationship management experience in a bank environment. Extensive knowledge of Commercial and Business Banking and or Private Banking. Demonstrated experience in credit analysis, loan negotiation, sound underwriting. Sound Portfolio Management and Business Development experience involving high income individuals. Excellent quantitative and business analysis skills. Experience in Spreadsheets and Financial Statement analysis. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex transactions to credit committee and management in general.
