Job 5230: Personal Trust Officer

Location State: Upper Midwest

Base Salary: To 85,000 D.O.E.

Position Responsibilities: High performance regional bank wishing to hire an experienced Personal Trust Officer. Will be responsible for managing fiduciary and investment oriented client relationships; developing new personal trust business and providing customer service-exceeding customer expectations! Administers various trusts; provides expert financial advise in the areas of trust, investments, tax planning and private banking. Will assume portfolio of existing clientel, including relationships that are: "of high value" and "high visibility" for the corporation. A minimum of 4 to 6 years experience in Personal Trust Admin. + technical knowlege of investments, tax, legal and trust operations, usually acquired through formal education and related experience is required. Most qualified candidate will possess trust administration experience, strong investment acumen and excellent cutomer service skills . . . will be organized, articulate. Ideally, the most qualified candidate will be self-motivated (ie: comfortable in taking the initiative to develop new business and cross-sell products and services of the bank that might be applicable/beneficial to the trust client).

Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors, Series 7, 6 ; 63

Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in finance, business or related field is required. JD is strongly desired. Our client will also give strong consideration of candidates possessing one or more of these professional credentials: CPA; CFP; RIA; Series 7; Series 6 & 63.

Preferred Qualifications: Top consideration to candidates with LAW DEGREE with Estate Planning/Fiduciary concentration
