Job 6023: Asset Management Relationship Advisor

Base Salary: 80,000 - 90,000+ DOE plus bonus

Bonus & Incentives: Annual company bonus averages 30%
of base compensation and can range 0% to 50%+
Position Responsibilities: Opportunity to join one of the
most dynamic, team oriented financial groups in New England.
Organization has completely re-defined the meaning of
"client-centered". As principal asset manager and advisor to their
higher net worth clients, will play a pivotal role in helping
individuals and families achieve their financial goals while
supporting the development of long term, trusted-advisor
relationships through the private banking group. This is your
opportunity to experience a whole new way of relating to your
clients and to serving their best interests by leveraging your
portfolio management, relationship development, sales, and client
retention skills.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors,
MBA desirable; CFA or active enrollment to achieve certification
expected.
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 7 years as
a Portfolio Manager in a similar position is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Must be capable of providing
support to private bankers such as: 1) tax-sensitivity analysis to
address client concerns about capital gains, 2) assisting with
high-level communications to outside Separate Managers, 3)
providing financial planning assistance to private bankers, 4)
providing investment management guidance relating to various other
investment processes, and when necessary, 5) assisting efforts to
close Retirement Plans and other kinds of new business.
Additional Comments: This is the senior position in the
investment group and, as such, incumbent should have extensive
experience in the investment business including knowledge that
extends beyond portfolio management to economics and the many
facets of the domestic and international capital markets. This
person must possess well-developed communication and analytical
skills that bring prospective, insight and consistency to the
investment decision-making process. Use of these skills for client
service and work with new business prospects must be equally well
developed.
