Position: Estate Planner
Location: Dallas, Texas
Position Description:
-
Assists Financial Advisor (FA) in the discovery and analysis of estate planning/ wealth transfer needs of selected BAI clients.
-
Provides objective advice to FA and their clients on various estate planning strategies and options.
-
Delivers customized solutions to meet estate planning or wealth transfer needs of selected BAI clients.
-
Partners with FA to deliver client presentations and seminars on estate planning and wealth transfer.
-
Actively participates in various professional organizations and presentation engagements in order to promote the image of BAI and the Asset Management Group as a “trusted advisor”.
-
Some in-territory travel will be required.
Qualifications:
-
JD preferred but not required if candidate has sufficient job experience and expertise. Demonstrated understanding of taxation and its effect on estate planning is required.
-
Must have a proven track record in providing estate planning/wealth transfer advice to affluent clients – with a minimum of 7 years experience in the industry.
-
Proven superior communication, public speaking and presentation skills acquired through presentations to groups.
-
Will possess the drive, energy and persuasion skills necessary to move FA and clients to action.
-
Ability to travel.
